FROM COACH: Coaches Paul and Simon had told me I would have to jump if I wanted their permission to use shots of them on this site. I had planned to do a flip, but I had not planned on Paul pushing me in. Despite the push, I went for the flip, landing gracefully on my ass in the water (rather than my intended feet first). Better yet, Paul, who was holding the camera, missed the entire jump. And yes, the San Francisco Bay is the coldest water I have ever been in.

FROM COACH: Final fight poster revealed. Mefisto turned out looking pretty good and scary, Dr.Faust was stretched horizontally, making him look huge (and scary).
MEFISTO SAYS: I like to call this poster “Two world-class athletic specimens . . . and their family of genetic mutants.” I mean, really — we look like some sort of circus team of freaks and misfits, with these guys as our “trainers.”
